Vide e Caffe becomes a way of life at Wild Coast Sun

New coffee offering for guests at 4-star beachfront resort

Inspired by the street cafes of Portugal, well-loved coffee brand Vida e Caffe has brought their unique African energy to Wild Coast Sun Resort in Port Edward.

With more than 300 stores on the African continent, Vida e Caffe’s reputation for excellent coffee has been entrenched since 2001.

“Whether you need your breakfast on the go or want to linger over lunch, you’ll find authentic, delicious food that is generously prepared with quality ingredients and made on site daily,” said Vida e Caffe Wild Coast Sun co-owner Lonwabo Mtatshi. “Vida is a perfect match with Wild Coast Sun as they are both quality brands which resonate with families.

A selection of vegetarian, vegan and Halal meal options, as well as dairy alternatives, are offered, but Mtatshi said the best-selling item was Vida’s famous coffee. “The response to the store opening has been brilliant and we are really grateful for all the tourists visiting as well as the support from the local community, who play a large role in success of Wild Coast Sun.”

Wild Coast Sun General Manager Peter Tshidi said his early mornings are often kickstarted by a freshly-brewed cappuccino. “It’s been a great addition to our selection of restaurants and since opening a couple of months ago, has already proved a hit with guests.”
