Quaint Cape St Francis November 23rd, 2014
Cape St Francis is a tiny treasure trove of beaches, excellent water-sport facilities and unspoilt surroundings.
The lighthouse built in 1878 to warn ships of the dangerous reefs, still stands majestically at the point. Across from the lighthouse is the SANCCOB rehabilitation centre for seabirds, in particular the endangered African Penguin. Both of these are popular tourist attractions in Cape St Francis.
Surrounded by nature reserves, this rustic village and area is a tranquil eco-destination and provides a wonderful holiday for families.
