Oracle HR was established in 2020. We specialise in Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Lie detection (Voice Stress Polygraph).
Oracle HR was established because we have a passion for both business and people.
We believe that the effectiveness of a business essentially revolves around its people. Developing employees and getting them to buy into the strategy, values and identity of the company can really be the making or breaking of successful companies. If the company takes care of its people, the staff will take care of the customers.
Oracle HR will identify the gaps and shortcomings in your business and assist to improve on current processes / gaps, which leads to better human resource management, and hopefully also leads to better turnover.
Oracle HR was established by Elsa Ferreira. Elsa has extensive experience in Human Resources and Industrial relations within various sectors and is also a qualified Voice Polygraph Examiner and a member of the South African Bio-Feedback Polygraph and Voice Polygraph Association.
We strive to provide the best advice to clients in line with Labour Legislation and we provide a complete specialised service to each client in line with their company goals and values.

How does the Voice Stress Polygraph work?
The Voice Stress Polygraph system records the human voice using a microphone, and the technology is based on the tenet that the non-verbal, low-frequency content of the voice conveys information about the physiological and psychological state of the speaker. This method uses technology that analyses vocal patterns and highlights areas where the speaker suffers psychological stress (Flight or Fight response) in response to a stimulus. However, unlike a polygraph, this is not done through any physical attachments.
We make use of AVSAPRO technology. AVSAPRO utilises the Lippold microtremor of voice to deliver accurate and reliable results.
The benefits of using the Voice Stress Polygraph
- More hygienic
- More subject-friendly and less intimidating
- Doesn’t use any physical attachments
- It’s a much newer technology than the polygraph test
- The only possible countermeasure is for the subject to be silent
- All results are conclusive
- Alcohol, drugs, age and health will not impact the results
- Result charts show and quantify stress patterns.
Types of tests
Specific Issue Polygraph
We use this test when there is a clearly defined incident being investigated. The test helps to establish whether the examinee should be considered as a possible suspect in the on-going investigation of the matter. The test results are often used to corroborate other evidence, and the results can be presented at a disciplinary inquiry or for the CCMA.
This test is administered to prospective employees. The test questions are structured to cover several issues such as previous involvement in theft from employers, undisclosed drug use, the commissioning of serious crimes, and falsification of employment application documentation.
We administer this test to existing employees who work in high-risk environments within the business where they have access to high-value goods, for example. This test can focus on a single issue such as involvement in theft from the company, or it can be expanded to include drug use and the commissioning of other crimes.
