Leisure Retreat is a small, intimate holiday- and all year round Get-Away for a family, groups of people or backpackers passing through. We give you a bright holiday retreat on the Indian Coastline that blends harmoniously with its idyllic surrounds. With loads of space and tranquillity; simplicity and casual comfort are key elements of our South Coast Resort. We are self-catering, so you can cook up your own meals or enjoy the excellent restaurants in our area. We have log cabins, houses and a flat to fulfil any need that you have.

Being outdoors is an essential part of our Retreat, with big lawns, wild indigenous gardens and a hiking path through our bush. This place is the ultimate hangout for outdoor-living people. People with a passion for nature, birdlife and small wild animals. We offer a beautiful mix of sea, garden and mountain vistas.

Whether you are looking for a place to lay down your head after a hard day's travel or a breakaway you need, we have the accommodation you seek. With a Communal House, a Self-catering house and two Self-catering chalets, Log Cabins with a shared bathroom and kitchen, WE OFFER IT ALL.

Come and experience the lush wonders of the South African South Coast with us. We have self-catering houses as well as log cabins on our premises. There are two communal houses available. Leisure Retreat  CC is surrounded by a number of beautiful beaches within a 10km radius. It is a bird and wildlife watcher's dream.

Calm and secluded, yet not to far from the buzz of Margate, a mere 20km away.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION IN PORT EDWARD

• Braais are provided for each unit.
• There is a pool on the premises. 
• Please be warned that children under the age of 12 are not allowed without adult supervision.

1. Eleven Log Cabins.

• These units are fitted with either a double bed; two single beds or two double bunks.
• Each cabin has a fridge, microwave and a kettle
• There is a shared bathroom for every two units.
• We have a fully equipped communal kitchen that services these units. 

2. 5-bed Flat.

• This flat is perfect for a small family.    
• It has two bedrooms: Room 1 has a double bed, while Room 2 has a bunk bed.    
• There is a bed in the living space as well.    
• We have a TV but no DSTV in this unit for those rainy or lazy days.    
• In this unit there is a fully equipped kitchen and a separate bathroom.

3. Communal house - Visarend

• The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. With a large fully fitted kitchen.
• Bedroom 1 (Sleeps 4): This bedroom is fitted with a double bed and a double bunk bed.
• Bedroom 2 (Sleeps 6): In this bedroom you will find 3 double bunk beds.
• Bedroom 3 (Sleeps 2): There is a double bunk bed fitted in this room.
• In the living area you will find a TV but no DSTV.

4. Pool House - Duiker

• This house sleeps 10 people.
• It has two bedrooms; a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a separate shower.
• Bedroom 1 : This bedroom has a double bed and a three quater bed.
• Bedroom 2 : In this bedroom you will find a bunk bed and a single bed.
• In the living area, you will find four more beds.
• This house is perfect for a group getaway.
