The golf course at Port Shepstone Country Club on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal is just one hours drive from Durban. The course is a nature lover's paradise that has a large selection of Bird Life including Fish Eagle, Egyptian Geese, various species of Stork and Duck as well as dyker, monkeys and many other wildlife roaming.

The first nine holes are luscious coastal forest with a large variety of indigenous trees and mangroves lining the fairways and is considered by many to be the most beautiful section. The second nine holes are more a Links type golf course which is open and wind affected with a number of water hazards attracting abundant Bird Life. The Pro Shop carries a broad range of golf equipment and balls catering for all players from the high handicappers to the scratch players.

Saffron Chef’s at Port Shepstone Country Club

Saffron Chef’s are the Club’s caterers, we are open for weddings, birthdays, Christmas functions, year end functions Sunday lunch, breakfast and from Tuesday to Sunday we have a wonderful menu during the day Visitors are most welcome at our club.​

Bowls

The Bowling Section of Port Shepstone Country Club is extremely active and competes with the best on the Coast. Both of our greens are open and very close to being at the “Top”.

Cricket

Cricket is a growing sport at Port Shepstone Country Club with an active senior and junior section. The cricketers are in the process of selling advertising boards around the Oval to raise funds to improve the facilities of the ground which has to rate as one of the most beautiful settings for cricket.

Squash

The squash section was founded in 1971. League is played on each Thursday. There is one super league as opposed to the three leagues in the past. This is a new concept and we are trying to create more interest in squash by having all three league sections playing in each team.
