This beautiful preserved historic residence was constructed during 1902.

‘Ouma se opstal’ also known as Granny’s Homestead is situated at the foothills of the majestic Drakensberg, a World Heritage Site.

The ‘Kopje’ at the back of the house known as ‘Impimbo’ in Zulu, or ‘Arthur Seat’, was an observation point for Dingaans’ Impis.

The Homestead of 100 years is surrounded by a breathtaking garden and creates a perfect atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The interior decor speaks of an old world charm and uplifts the spirit of appreciation…
