Glensheiling is a country Resort set in the midst of the meander. 
At Glensheiling we have 24 large spacious sites
for tents,caravans and motorhomes.

We also have self catering caravans available.
  
Our ablutions are immaculate with hot and cold water and washing up facilities.

Glensheiling boasts peace, quiet and tranquility. 
There are beautiful walks through the indigenous bush and forests with breathtaking views and abundant bird life. 
A lot of our indigenous trees are named. 
You may even spot a few historical sites: a hideout wall used in the boer war and evidence in the stream where Zulus used to sharpen their spears or take a stroll along 
the banks of a picturesque little stream.

Our nocturnal animals are abundant in our natural bush. Buck, bush-pig, porcupine and once a leopard was spotted! 
So how about a night walk??

Facilities

Braai facilities are on some of the sites, and communal braai areas are situated at the boma near the dam.
 
For the keen fly fisherman - we have a well stocked trout dam.
There are boats and a raft on the dam - where swimming is an absolute must!!
 
Kids have a ball on the trampoline, jungle gym, adventurous foofy slide, even building forts in our pine forest.
Beat Dad at a game of pool, table tennis or croquet, while Mum catches up on her tan on our new "Deck on the Dam".
 
So - for the young and not so young.

Attractions
Situated in the midst of the meander, you can spend days visiting all the art, craft and curio shops in the area.  For the more energetic there are beautiful mountain bike trails, horse riding, tennis, bowls and golf within 10 kms from the resort.

We also have our famous bushmen paintings in the Kamberg and at Giants Castle which is only +- 40 kms away.  A trip up Sani Pass is a wonderful days outing.

For the hungry and thirsty – we have our cozy restaurants with log fires only 2-3 kms away. Not to forget the famous Nottingham Road brewery which is within staggering distance!!
