Cathedral Peak Hotel Accommodation In The Drakensberg​.

STANDARD THATCHED ROOM: These open-plan thatched rooms are ideally situated in the beautiful Hotel gardens and can accommodate 3 guests.
Each en-suite room offers television, telephone, fan, heater, tea/coffee making facilities, a mini-bar fridge (stocked on request) and a king-sized bed and sleeper couch .

STANDARD ROOM: These very spacious & comfortable rooms are ideally situated in the Hotel's beautiful gardens. Each room has a king- sized bed, an en-suite
bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, television, fan, heater, telephone and private veranda. 

STANDARD FAMILY INTER-LEADING ROOM: These spacious rooms are able to accommodate up to 4 guests in either twin or king-sized beds. The suite comprises two of comfortable double rooms separated by a glass cottage-pane sliding door and curtain. The first room is en-suite, both rooms have a television and the second room leads out onto the private veranda. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities, fan, heater and telephone.

SUPERIOR ROOM: These newly constructed and very elegant rooms accommodate 2 guests in either twin or king-sized beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom,
tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar fridge, flat-screen television, under-floor heating, telephone and private veranda. Adjacent rooms have an
inter-leading door for family requirements.

EXECUTIVE HONEYMOON ROOM: No Children permitted and a maximum of 2 Adults
The well-appointed thatched honeymoon/executive rooms are set apart from the rest of the hotel in secluded gardens. Each room has been refurbished
this year to enhance its appeal and create a luxurious, intimate ambience. These rooms all boast a king-sized bed, LCD television,
telephone, stocked mini bar fridge, electric fireplace, under floor heating, spa bath, and private veranda with breathtaking mountain views. 

PRESIDENTIAL SUITE: No Children permitted and a maximum of 2 Adults
The exclusive Mponjwane Presidential Suite offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation boasting a gas fireplace, spa bath, steam bath, under floor
heating, two televisions with full DSTV, air conditioning and electric curtains opening onto a private veranda with spectacular mountain views.
Guests are also provided with a golf cart for their exclusive use for the duration of their stay.

 

Cathedral Peak Hotel Activities and Team Building In The Drakensberg​:

• 15 hikes and trails are available for your enjoyment ranging from gentle to very strenuous – walks include bushman painting sites - no driving necessary.
• A 9 hole golf course (with alternative tees for a 18 hole game) is available to guests. Golf tournaments and events are available by prior arrangement.
• Horse & pony riding (Intermediate and beginners rides are available daily, depending on the weather),
• Trout fishing is available on the property.
• Stunning mountain bike trails of varying difficulty (bikes available for hire).
• Quad biking, paintball, tennis, mini adventure golf (floodlit), volley-ball, bowls, badminton, trampoline, wall climbing, heated & cold swimming pools, and paddling pool for children are available outdoors and squash, pool, darts and table tennis are available indoors.
• The Health Centre offers a fully equipped gym, steam bath and Peak Performance Vitality Centre with a resident therapist offering a wide range of treatments.
• The resident helicopter is available for sight-seeing tours and transfers.
• San Art Interpretation Centre. Didima Camp, 5kms from Cathedral Peak Hotel offers an interesting journey through the history of San art, in their interpretation centre. Tours are conducted daily and last approximately 2 hours.
• A fun filled Karaoke Evening can be arranged for your conference in Harry’s Bar with words and music on the big screen.
