Estcourt
Geography and history
Estcourt is a doorway to the impressive Giant's Castle region of the central Drakensberg range and the KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields.
As a result of its waterslide location this area was first known as the Bushman’s River. This quaint town of Estcourt was soon given a new name after the MP for North Wiltshire who supported British settlers under the Byrne immigration system.

Activities in the area include, fishing, sailing, motor boating, there is also, hiking, mountain biking, 4x4 and horse riding trails.
